No Deal For Viewers

The Phone-in operator for Deal or No Deal on Channel four has been fined £30,000.

The game show, which is hosted by Noel Edmonds, asks viewers to phone in to be in with a chance of winning one of three cash prizes. However, the show is pre-recorded so the prize money was already set.

The operator I-Touch have been accused of mis-leading viewers with this phone-in and of therefore leading them to believe that the programme was live.

This new incident follows the many recent accusations and investigations made about television phone-ins and competitions.
