Glasweigen couple, Kieran Parker and Arabella Croft, who remortgaged their house to make a zombie film will see its release in cinemas across the UK from today.
Outpost is a zombie horror shot partly in Govan and Dumfries and Galloway. The film, which features Ray Stevenson and depicts nazi soldiers coming back from the dead, cost the Scottish couple £870,000 to produce.
Kieren and Arabella have won a Bafta Scotland award for the best first-time producers and the film has already been snapped up by Sony Pictures and has been released on DVD in the US.
The couple are considering a sequel depending on the success of Outpost over the coming weeks.

Take a trip to Fraggle Rock
Rumour has it that hit kid series, Fraggle Rock, is due to hit the big screen with their first ever movie.
Empire online write: "the Weinstein Company is planning a live-action film for the Fraggles and their friends, with the Jim Henson company also producing"
The movie will see the return of the mischevious and wacky creatures from the 80's as they venture into the human world.
No official announcements have been made about the cast, release date or actual plot line but, I'll keep you posted.
